We are one of few area hospitals offering laser surgery which reduces post-operative pain and intra-operative bleeding considerably, creates less swelling and usually leads to a quicker recovery from surgical procedures. This state-of-the-art technology is available to our patients on elective surgeries and is applied to any procedure which will benefit from it over the traditional scalpel method. Digital Radiography with ScanX. Computed radiography allows us several options that traditional film does not.  The x-ray image is scanned directly into a computer.  We can use software to enhance the digital image to aid diagnosis.  We can also easily send the image to a specialist instantly if a consultation is required, or copy to a CD.

Dental services including dental radiographs, routine prophylaxis (cleanings), gingival (gum) surgery, and tooth extractions (exodontia)

Flea control and other parasite control agents such as ADVANTAGE™, TOP SPOT PLUS™, FRONTLINE™, PREVENTIC™ (at reasonable prices)  We are proud to offer K9 Advantix™.  This topical parasite control, made by Bayer, not only kills 98-100% of fleas within 12 hours, but also repels and kills ticks and mosquitoes for an entire month!  It is safe for use on dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age or older, but should NEVER be applied to cats, and should be used with caution when there are cats in the household.

By popular demand, we have brought Sentinel® back into our inventory. Made by Novartis, this oral tablet combines an effective heartworm preventive with lufenuron, a chemical that breaks the flea life cycle at the egg stage.  Sentinel® is also safe for dogs and puppies, but is not available for cats.

Of course, we still offer other safe, reliable flea and tick control products including Frontline® and Advantage®, both of which are recommended for use with cats, as well as Preventic® collars. Parasites such as roundworms, tapeworms, and hookworms can cause unpleasant health problems for your cat or dog. Therefore, we offer Drontal® or Drontal® Plus for deworming.
