Some of our holiday guests want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas!!
Greenie Lac Greenie was not having a good morning. After escaping through an accidentally unlocked gate, he was struck by a car on busy Newberry Road not more than a block from his home. Luckily, someone was watching out for him. Several Good Samaritans stopped to make sure Greenie got the help he needed. Greenie suffered a broken femur, rib and pelvis in the accident, but is now recovering well!! Special thanks to Kathy Lasko, Daryl Tomlinson, Mike and Rick from Fire Station No. 4, the GPD officer who directed traffic while Chenoa and Christy helped Greenie into the 'ambulance' (aka Chenoa's Explorer) and all the other kind people who stopped, called to check on him, and offered to help. Also, thank you to Dr. Jehn and everyone at the UF vet school orthopedic service. Of course, a very special thanks to Trung Lac and his family, who were overjoyed to be reunited with Greenie and are doing a great job of helping him recuperate. (Sorry for any misspelled names!)
